Can I purchase online? No. We sell so many products with limited quantities (sometimes only one of each item!), or which require bespoke elements (such as curtain making or carpet laying), that running an e-commerce site is impractical. We do show a range of products on this website so you can see the type of products we sell, but you do need to come in store or give us a call to make a purchase.
Do you do gift vouchers? Yes, we do gift vouchers of any value.
Do you do wedding registries? Yes, we do. Please contact us to arrange one.
Do you service areas outside of Wanganui? Yes, we have experienced staff in Central Plateau, Taranaki and Rangitikei areas regularly who are able to come to your home for advice and a free measure and quote.
Can you re-cover an old lounge suite or chair with new fabric? Yes, we have an upholsterer who can re-cover furniture, and a wide range of upholstery fabric to choose from. Come in store to look at the fabric samples and get a quote.
Do you sell mattresses and bases separately? Yes, we do.
Do you sell dining chairs and tables separately? Yes, we do.
What if I can’t find what I’m looking for in-store? If we don’t have what you want in-store, we’ll do our best to locate and order it in for you. With a wide network of suppliers, we have access to all sorts of furniture and homewares items – so many that we can’t have it all in our shop! So, if we don’t have what you’re looking for, just ask us to find it.
What if I like a piece of furniture, but don’t like the fabric on it? We can order most furniture items to be covered in any fabric you like. Just choose some fabric from the wide range of samples we have in-store, and we’ll sort the rest.
What is the process to get new curtains and blinds?
1. Visit or contact us to arrange a time for us to come and measure your windows
2. Choose the fabric or colour for your curtains or blinds
3. We will provide a quote
4. If the quote is accepted, we will be in touch to arrange a time for them to be installed
5. Curtains or blinds get installed
How much do new curtains or blinds cost? The cost of curtains or blinds is very dependent on the style and fabric you choose. To give you an accurate estimate we need to measure your windows and provide an individual quote. We provide free measures and quotes, so please call us on 06 345 4554 to arrange a time for us to come to your home.
What is the process to get new carpet?
1. Contact us to arrange a time for us to come and measure your floor
2. Choose what kind of flooring you want
3. We will provide a quote
4. If accepted, we will be in touch to arrange a time that the flooring can be laid
5. Flooring gets laid
How much does it cost to re-carpet a house? The cost to re-carpet is very dependent on the size of your house and the carpet you choose. To give you an accurate estimate we need to measure your house and provide an individual quote. We provide free measures and quotes, so please call us on 06 345 4554 to arrange a time for us to come to your home.
Do you sell fabric remnants? Yes, we have a lot of curtain and upholstery fabric, net and lining remnants available. Some are large pieces still on the rolls and others are smaller off cuts starting from just $1.00.
What payment options do you accept? EFTPOS, online banking, all major credit cards, cheques, Q Card, Farmers Card and RD1 Super Card
What’s better – wool, solution dyed nylon or polyester carpet? One isn’t better than the other, one will just be better suited to a persons needs:

· Can naturally absorb 30-40% of its own weight in moisture without becoming wet to touch
· Sustainable and biodegradable
Solution Dyed Nylon:
